splendid stay

warm greeting varied options quiet atmosphere

staff greeted me warmly. breakfast offered varied options and fresh juice. the room provided ample space, i liked the provided robes and slippers. i especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location of the hotel.

the gym was a bit smaller than expected it only had a few machines.

the hotel sits a short walk from the old city. many temples are within easy reach. night markets and thapae gate are also nearby this location offers convenience.

the beautiful room included a king-size bed. linens were clean and crisp. the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area. the room also featured a small balcony.

the breakfast buffet presented a selection of thai and western dishes. fresh fruit and pastries were available daily. the egg station cooked eggs to order. coffee and tea were also readily available.

some issues

loud air conditioning distracted staff

The air conditioning in my room was very loud. i had trouble sleeping because of it. the pool area seemed small. there were not enough sun loungers for everyone. the staff often seemed distracted by their phones. I felt they should focus more on the guests.

unreliable connection cramped pool area

i felt let down by a few things. the tv connection was unreliable and needed resetting daily, annoying. our room was supposed to be for three people, but it only had two beds. we had to pay extra for a bed for my child (i thought that was a bit much). also, the pool area felt cramped and wasn't the greatest.
